Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
i5 2500K
HD3000 Integrated Graphics
8GB Corsair Vengeance
Crucial M4 120GB SSD (OS X)
Western Digital 500GB (Files)

Everything works fine (including maps and messages).

Sleep works but it takes 20 seconds, and have to tap two times a key to wake (first time to wake up the CPU, second time to wake up the monitor).

Hello Elgris_77,

I would like to ask your help regarding my build. I had a working Hackintosh on Moultain Lion before but I tried to upgrade it Mavericks and the audio did not work. The only reason why I am asking you is because we have a almost the same hardwares except for the SSD and the RAM.

May I ask which version of bios do you have? And what is your configuration on it? And how did you get the audio working on the HDMI?

I am currently running on UEFI BIOS and I got it all working but for the sound. I haven't tried the maps and messages yet because at this point there no sense of fully configuring the Mavericks if I still have no working audio.

Is it possible for you to share your DSDT file and Audio Kexts or any other file that could help my build up and running since we have the same configuration? Then I will just copy your MB Config files.

Thanks a lot and Happy Holidays.

Try voodootscsync.kext. I have the same problem on an MSI board, that fixed it.

Installed from scratch 10.9, then upgraded to 10.9.1, then also flashed MB with latest firmware:

Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H

Following BIOS parameters were set:
  • Vt-d was set to Disabled
