Multibeast 5.0.2 for i5-3570k / ga-z77x-ud3h / hd4000

Mountain Lion installed very easily with Multibeast 5.0.2 for i5-3570k / ga-z77x-ud3h / hd4000

Only had to add the resolution to org.chameleon.boot.plist, otherwise the screen would come up scrambled after the 2nd reboot with a first-generation Apple Cinema display (22"), so just inserted this:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1600x1024x32</string>

The Intel USB3.0 on the rear panel seems a little uncertain when connecting USB 3.0 devices -- it works for a Verbatim Store N Go V3 - USB 3.0 usb-stick but not with a Transcend TS-RDF8K USB 3.0 card reader.

As others have noted, USB connections seem to get lost upon waking from sleep (for example, usb-sticks give the error that they were not properly ejected).

eSata works, the added USB 3.0 ports from the Via VT800 chip don't (as it's not supported, but it's not a big deal since there are plenty of internal connectors for front panel USB headers), nor does the VIA sound (this was known ahead of time, but still chose this mainboard because it was the most affordable one I could get in Europe with a display port connector for resolutions higher than 1980 x 1024, extra power phases on the cpu supply, solid overclocking features, debugging led indicator etc.)

This is my first build and MultiBeast came out just when I needed it. Downloaded and used MultiBeast 5.0.2.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
i7 3770k
16 GB Corsair RAM (still need to speed it up though)
GTX 570
OWC 6G SSD 240 GB
WD Black 1 TB
Mountain Lion

I was having problems with my 570 graphics card, so I worked without it at first using the HD4000 and weird resolution. Just Unibeast install and I was able to boot and run everything. I even had Ethernet in both ports. Ran Multibeast once and got display working with graphics card. Sound works. Ethernet stopped working. Ran MultiBeast again and got that working. Great tool.

Not sure if I should be using TRIM or IOACHIBlockStorageInjector or any of the eSATA/SATA drivers...everything seems to be working great. Thanks you all!!!!

upgrade to uefi it will be easier for you as you wont need dsdt!!! then check the dsdt free configuration and just check the audio and ethernet kexts to keep everything simple good luck! optionally you can put hw monitor with fake smc plugins

Success with GA-Z68-UD3H-B3 with U1H UEFI BIOS
2600K i7
NVIDIA GTS250 1024MB

Installed with set options for DSDT Free, lnx2Mac for ethernet and i7 SDST. This gave me everything but sleep mode / proper shutdown.

Installed patched 10.8 AppleNullCPUPowerManagement and all is perfect.

Hope this helps - and thanks to everyone who made this possible!
