I have made all the changes with an app called Mirage.

Here's my dock. Needs some cleaning but I use everything that's on it.

I use Alfred to launch apps so I don't keep much in the Dock. By an large it just gets in the way. I put it on the side because on a widescreen it's less likely to be in the way there.

When I'm working my Dock would be likely to look like this:

But what you can't see is the interesting stuff: lucene, node.js, selenium, phpunit, sphinx, mysqld, etc.

I can tell you that the Keyspan Fron Row Remote Control works very nicely.

Does anybody can help me to get more/better organized?
