I noticed that Vega on macOS tneds to throttle more aggressively than on Windows

Within a few seconds after the benchmark starts, the core will lower to like 1.1~1.2Ghz

I know it's a reference cooler, but come on Apple, this is just laughable

However, the Morpheus Vega is coming within few days

Let's see how this baby will do in round two!

With just Morpheus Vega and only one fan installed

The performance improvement is significant!

So my theory is correct, macOS throttles Vega more aggressively than Windows

Now all I need is another fan the utilize the full heatsink and see how far this baby can go:headbang::headbang::headbang:

The values of my Vega are below yours, I don't know how to solve it. :(

jaymonkey's Vega 64 is liquid cooled and runs at 1.71GHz.

Whenever dealing with Vega cards, to get the best performance, you need to makes sure it does not throttle. To do this, you have to keep it running cool. I think throttling begins when the Vegas hit about 80C.

Here's my Red Dragon Vega 56 (w/Vega 64 BIOS) with stock power tables and no throttling:

For that I need VGTAB and change the values?
I have a custom configuration that you can see in the following link:

Do you recommend any extra adjustments? thank you

To prevent it from throttling, you need to improve the cooling of the video card.
