What's the best Geekbench 5 score we have seen for an OC i9-9900K? I just ordered one. Hoping I can beat my 1303 with my 4.7GHz OC on my 9600K but all depends on the silicon lottery.

System is "Mini-ITX 3" below, 16 GB RAM, Samsung 970 Pro 1 GB SSD. Note the "failed validation" error in Metal test.

System is "Mini-ITX 1" below (my oldest), 16 GB RAM, Samsung 840 EVO 256 GB SSD, and using an entry-level, single-slot Gigabyte nVidia GT 1030 graphics card. Note the same Metal test shows a "failed validation" as my "Mini-ITX 3" in post #650.

Same system as post 644, but upgraded to an i9-9900K. Clock speed is stock, although I have played around with some of the voltage options to try and lower the temperatures. So far I am in the low 70s max with Geekbench and about 78 multicore cinema bench test for 10 minutes. My cooler is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 with a push pull fan configuration.

One thing to note is I always see faster Geekbench scores after the computer has gone through one sleep cycle. Not sure why. I saw the same thing with my i5-9600k. The second geekbench single core score is usually faster than the first, and usually multi-core as well. Possibly because some of the benchmark is cached by the CPU after the first test.
