Post installation USB 3 doesn't work...help.

Hi!
So, in the past few years i have installed snow leopard,mountain lion, and mavericks, all ended up working exempt one thing.

USB 3.

I have never got around on how to make my usb on my mother board work.
No matter what os i had it never excepted any hd or charged any iPhone.

I would appreciate it , if anyone could perhaps lead me to the solution to this issue

I just use the universal driver in Multibeast and it works for me. What motherboard do you have?

I've had the same problem, I've even converted the front ports on my case to USB 2.0. I can get one USB 3.0 port to work in the back, and I always install the USB 3.0 Universal kext from Multibeast, and it's been like this 10.8.3 - 10.9.2. I have a Gigabyte Z77-UD5H
