Hello, I have a hackintosh running lion 10.7.5 and everything works 100% I couldn't be more happy with it and I've been using it for months. However it has always taken about 5 or 6 minutes to boot and it is installed on an SSD. When I boot verbose I noticed it hangs on "waiting for DSMOS" for many minutes. as soon as its don't waiting for it It loads a couple things in a matter of 2 two seconds and then I am at my desktop. Its not the end of the work or anything, but I would love for it to boot faster considering that is one of the reasons I bout an SSD for my hacintosh. Thank you, I look forward to your suggestions.

Run Terminal and copy and paste the following command into the Terminal window:

cd /
sudo chown root:admin /

Press enter.
You will need to enter your password and press enter.
It won’t show any characters when you type.
If you do not have a password then set one first.

Once done, you can Quit Terminal and restart your computer.

Thanks for your reply, I tried this and it didnt work, It still hangs there for a long time before booting. Is there something I could be doing wrong?
