Hi!

I'm going to build my first Hackintosh. It's going to be running Mountain Lion.

I've been thinking of buying the parts that are listed here:

Intel i7 3770K 1155-Socket CPU

XFX Radeon HD 6870 Dual Fan GPU

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16 Gb @ 1600 MHz CL9 RAM

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP4 TH *Socket-1155 MBO

Corsair H70 Core Watercooling (With Silent Fans)

Plextor DVD±RW Writer PX-891SA

Fractal Design Define XL Titanium Grey

Intel 520 Series SSD 120 GB (Boot-Drive)

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (Storage)

TP-Link*TL-WDN4800 Wi-Fi Card

Corsair AX750 750W PSU

Will this work? And I couldnt seem to find the DSDT for the Motherboard even though it's in the recommended build.

And anybody got any idea for the MultiBeast options? (I havent really understanded it yet)

Well thanks in advamce for all help!

Not sure about the WiFi card. And DSDT is not required for these Z77 motherboards that have UEFI.

WiFi card is fine.

You sure Ridge? I didn't know.
And the reason im using it because I already have it.
But can anyone give me some tips on the MultuiBeast innstallation and what checkboxes I should check?

MultiBeast:
UserDSDT (I know you don't have one, but it installs the other files you need)
system utilities
AppleHDA patched for ALC892
HDAEnabler for ALC892
Lnx2Mac's Realtek ethernet kext

should be all you need.

Thx for help! Only on thing

Temporary Instructions for AMD 6xxx Graphics Cards:
There is a new issue with AMD 6xxx cards only in the Mountain Lion installation. Instead of messing around with framebuffers, we recommend using an alternate graphics card or onboard Intel HD 3000/4000 graphics for the entire process. After you're fully installed, you can switch back to your 6xxx card.

How do I install the graphicscard later should I just plug it in and it will work or will I have to run MultiBeast again?
Do the Thunderbolt need any MultiBeast drivers or does it work Nativley?
And have you guys seen a completed build with this Motherboard if so, please send me to it!
Pics when I get the parts!
And planning to do a step-by-step tutorial with pics when done!

All the required info for the 6xxx cards are located in the 10.8 section. It should be on the first page.

Could not find it mind hitting me up with a link? :)

Just install ML without the 6870 card installed. Use the onboard graphics. After ML is all set up, turn off the machine, install the 6870, swap the monitor cable over to the 6870 and boot up. Should just work, at least it did with my 6850.

If you already own the card, its no big deal to install without it and then add it afterwards. But if your are buying a new card, choose Nvidia for best support.
