Hello fellow "hackers", i'm planning to update my hackintosh system which was initially build in early 2013. I'm using Photoshop and Illustrator a lot, and after upgrading to Yosemite, my system feels kind of slow now.

These are the main specs of my current system:
Processor: 3,5 GHz Intel Core i7
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97 (ud5h) Motherboard
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 2048 MB
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Main Disk: SanDisk Ultra Plus SSD 256GB
Power: Corsair 650w

Are any of the above parts worth to keep for the upgrade or should i go for a brand new system with new parts?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Keep using what you've got until you can build a Skylake system with at least 16 GB of
DDR4 ram. Keep your old case SSD and PSU and buy the other parts new once Skylake
parts are in the buyer's guide.

You'll probably need a Skylake certified power supply tho thats the thing you might want to look into.
