I have a PIONEER BDR-208D which worked fine in Yosemite/Chimera. In El Cap/Clover, I get a "disk drive is unsupported" error when I try to eject the disk. It'll load and play just fine, though. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Were you able to resolve this?
Just updated to El Capitan via Clover and I'm having a similar issue.

System boots up just fine but when I attempt to open the drive tray via the "open" icon to the left of the volume control, the tray will not open and I will get this message.

You inserted a blank cd.jpg

No matter which button I choose, I then get this message:

Drive is not supported.jpg

It does not appear in Disk Utility or System Report.

Any ideas?
It's worked just fine for the last 18 months, through both Mavericks and Yosemite, since first building this Hack.
And just a restart will not resolve it. I have to completely shut down and then start her up again.

It resolved itself on its own, unfortunately. Is it the same model?

Ever fix this? This came back, maybe in 10.11.6? It's not going away on its own this time!

Edit: Nevermind, my dsdt got uninstalled because of my own stupidity. Works now.
