Hi guys.

I connect via ethernet bridged to my macbook pro as my wifi card (w951n) isn't supported by 10.8.3

A problem I face is that....Well....

I have to keep the PC fully power'd off. Unplugging everything. This goes for about 20 Minutes. After 20Mins I can turn on power and boot and ethernet network will work.

Is their a way to avoid this? Every time I go to bed I make sure the power is off so I can boot with network without problems but when I boot into windows for gaming and come back I must preform the 20-30m step of "Fully powering my gear".

From what I've heard it's because of some electrons on the PSU that somehow affect connectivity. 20 Minutes with no power should fix this.

It's an interesting topic and a tedious one, any ideas?

I'm having the same issue and have to turn physically off for about 1 min before I get internet access even though it always says my ethernet is connected fine. Although this is not all the time, just once or twice a week.

I'm using a Z77N WIFI board with a graphics card in the only PCI-e slot so the WDN4800 route is closed to me.
I'm using a 430w PSU.
