Hi, guys!
I have installed El Capitan and had some problems with freezing and rebooting. I have 4 x 4Gb RAM chips and when i leaved only two of them, it solved the problem.
But there is another problem with Photoshop launch - it crashes on launch.

I think its a Graphics Card problem:

Someone has the same problem? Any suggestions?

For the memory problem, it's possible that a change of machine type in SMbios would give better results (e.g. if you're using a machine type that has only two RAM slots).

For the Photoshop problem, check with Adobe. I know some of their apps are not yet compatible with El Capitan. At least one recommended switching to software rendering or something. You may find sites like MacRumors have lists of known incompatible software as well.

Great system specs... What is a "Mobo-Mac OS 10.11"

Under El Capitan my Photoshop CC 2015 crashed at startup without any error.
It seems to be OpenCL problem.
I've tryed LuxMark and it showed that CPU uses OpenCL, but GPU (Nvidia GTX 560ti) didn't. So I've added "nvda_drv=1" boot flag to clover (Nvidia injector is checked in my Clover) and after that GPU also had OpenCL support and Photoshop opens normally.

I hope this will help you.

Crash occurred with me when using the Nvidia Web drivers with Photoshop CC but went away when using the OS X graphics drivers.

Hi, I tried this an it works great! thank u very much!
P.D: I was also having problems with quicktime screen recording an this solved the problem too.

I had the same issue for Photoshop & Quicktime.

I tried to put the bootflag "nvda_drv=1" with "Nvidia injector checked" in Clover configurator but no luck that doesn't work.

I succeeded to enable Photoshop & Quicktime installing the Nvidia web drivers because it put automatically "nvda_drv=1" kernel flag in /Extra/org.Chameleon.boot.plist

My card is a GTX 580 and it's not compatible with web drivers, I had an error message who said "Hey your card is not supported!". Because of that, I uninstalled the Nvidia preference pane with CleanMyMac, reboot my Hackintosh... Voilà Photoshop & Quicktime works perfectly!

That's an alternative solution ;)

It is a really interessting problem.

I had the same problem and I tried all the things you guys wrote.
But the only thing which solved the issue is that I have now the newest NVIDIA web driver installed and nvda_drv=1 bootflag is checked. Everything else did not work.

Also Adobe had no solution for this issue.

At the moment I run my machine on iMac13,2 but I have some graphic flickers. Before that it works well with MacPro3,1. Maybe I should buy a new graphics card which has better support under MacOS.

Anyways, thanks to everybody who wrote here and gave a hint with their problems so I had solved my problem.

I love this forum <3

To fix your crashing problem you need to disable OpenCL, just un-tick OpenCL render. Instruction: go to preferences then select performance then on the right you will see the advanced tab, click it and un-select OpenCL.

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update and the reason i am stoping on yosemite for now, a few of adobe products are not fully compatible yet and will not use your hardware to its full potential.

Hey everybody,

I updated my OSX to 10.11.1 with a clean install because I had an issue with usb port, freezing... and photoshop doesn't work anymore :/

I tried my first fix with the old nvidia web drivers... not work!

I tried all the steps describe here... not work!

My state actually is, I have Photoshop open, the window with his interface, no crash at launch but when I try to click somewhere the rainbow loader turn and photoshop crash.

So if you have any idea, please share :D
