Hey guys.. Yes it's been a month on and off.. I had a hard rive fail and thought I'd blown the board with the GPU so I had to wait to reinstall windows to check it.
I've managed to boot it up before and get it working on integrated graphics, logic wouldn't work but it was a start, but then the hard drive failed, and that was the delay.
I've added an externally powered RX580 now, it boots a little bit and then I get a black screen.
The processor in it is a intel i5 3400k.
hey nicksoph, yes I think I will try a couple more things - It could be a bios setting and if not I'll give the tutorial way a go this afternoon.
