Hello:
My recently acquired Dell Latitude E6410 shows me a [ PCI configuration begin ] error when installing with iBoot 3.0.0 CD and SL 10.6.3 Retail DVD. I know (or believe that) my BIOS setting are fine as if I use iBoot 2.7.2 CD, all goes well. I had one issue on 10.6.3 and the fix was to use maxmem=4096 or remove one on the RAM modules. I chose the latter since I did not know how the inject in Chameleon.
The next problem came. If I update to SL 10.6.8, the system will refuse to boot so I did a fresh install back to SL 10.6.3.
I have a working desktop hack with High Sierra and a SATA to USB dongle so I can hook up the hard drive and navigate to patch any issues or pull any data you need to see for support because most tools I find online require a newer OS to run. Also, how can I tell if my Retail DVD is 32bit or 64bit? I'm wondering if that's part of the cause as well.
Thanks.
