PC keyboard buttons Home, End, PgUp, PgDn don't work properly

Hello! I'm a newbie to macOS so don't blame me a lot.

OC 0.6.8. I've installed Catalina, then upgraded to Big Sur. I'd like to use my PC keyboard (Logitech K270). I can't get the buttons Home, End, PgUp, PgDn to work properly. I'd like them to work like in Windows, but it seems that in some apps they don't work at all (e.g. in the text editor). I've tried to set some key bindings, like here, but the things got even worse. I've also installed Karabiner Elements, but it seems it's of no help in this case. Is there any solution for this problem?

It may sound simple but:
Have you tried rebooting with the keyboard plugged into a different usb port, perhaps on the mobo backplate, to see if the OS says it doesn't recognize the keyboard and displays the registration applet?
