I have a dual boot desktop PC with Mac OS X 10.10.4 and Windows 8.1.
Sometimes I boot up Windows 8.1, after the Windows logo appeared for 1-2 seconds, the PC might physically shutdown, and I have to power on again then I can successfully boot up Windows 8.1. I don't know whether it is a software problem or hardware problem. I am using Chimera 4.1 as the bootloader.
Also, I am having the incorrect time issue. I have already set the "RealTimeIsUniversal" to 1 in Windows Registry, but whenever I switch from Mac OS X to Windows, the time would be incorrect again.
In Mac OS X, sometimes it totally freezes when I insert an USB device, such as USB flash drive or iDevice.
Specs:
CPU : i7-4790k
Motherboard : Asrock Z97 Extreme 3
Graphics : Gigabyte GTX970
RAM : 16 GB
