Please try booting in verbose mode and post a picture of where it stops.

Very strange...
I'm writing right now from the newly installed High Sierra.
When I reattached the SSD it showed up in Clover boot loader.
I chose it and the installation went to the end.
I didn't made any post installation changes yet.

Should I trust this handicapped installation?
Or maybe I should do it again in order to achieve it without any glitches?

If it were me, I would not bother with another install.
 
It won't boot without the USB...

  1. Mount the EFI partition of your USB flash drive.
  2. Mount the EFI partition of your main system drive.
  3. Copy the entire EFI folder from the EFI partition of the USB flash drive to the EFI partition of your main system drive.
  4. Set your main system drive as the primary boot drive in BIOS.
  5. Done.

Done.
Still doesn't boot High Sierra automatically. It get's to this point and stops:
