Since you have a proper USB 15 port limit fix in place, you can disable all the USB 15 port limit fixes in config.plist > KextsToPatch.

But I still can't charge my iPad, with or without the SSDT-USBX. Any ideas?

You need the SSDT-USBX. That provides the power injection.

Please post a screenshot of System Information > USB with your iPad highlighted.

Your SSDT seems to have a few mistakes. Please try using my SSDT and using "uia_exclude=" boot flags with the unused ports.

I keep seeing a notice to update my Apple ID but no matter how many times I enter my password, I only stay logged in for a few minutes.

I haven't seen this.

Make sure your Ethernet is set to EN0.
