Weird! Mine just speed up for a couple of second after sleep and then they will just stop too, unless I put stress on the GPU of course. This actually happened on a previous build I had with the MSI Vega 56 Turbo boost OC. They just speed up in the same way like when you turn on the pc from power off.

On my Vega, I did re-do all the VRM thermal pads and liquid metal the GPU die and HBM2 plus added washers to increase mounting pressure of the heatsink...

The Radeon VII is all stock because I didn't want to mess with that special thermal pad they use on the GPU die...

Please enter the following in Terminal and post the output:
Code:
pmset -g assertions
Sorry it took so long to post. Thank you.
I am seeing this: Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler
Is this what is preventing the sleep form happening?

IODisplayWrongler is always there and doesn't actually prevent sleep.

The output looks really good. I don't see anything that's preventing sleep at all.

I've started to get these runtime allocation errors, looks like it's because I moved a USB dongle for the mouse from USB2 ports to USB3... should be this normal and "fragile" or might not be related to this?. I thought these errors about NVRAM couldn't happen on Z370

This is an Aptio fix error. Make sure you only have one Aptio fix installed. Also try clearing NVRAM.

Thanks @pastrychef. I've tried deleting the NVRAM several times, but looks like if I move the USB to the other port I get this error :(

I've never heard of that. Make sure you are booting from the correct EFI folder.

Hi! I am using the RX 5700 XT. First, I had a black screen. I switched back to Vega 56, and no blackscreen anymore. Do you have a config.plist for (Asus Strix) RX 5700 XT?

Using macOS 10.15.1.

As per forum rules, please update your profile to include your CPU, motherboard, and GPU.

If you are using my EFI folder, try adding the following:

I wonder why this is happening then.
