I delayed due to Photoshop conflicts/issues with Catalina. Adobe released the v2020 of Ps this week and I was thinking about updating to Catalina. What has improved in the GPU arena? I noticed that the Rx 580 fans do not spin up at all since the 10.14.5 update.

In the benchmarks I've seen, users are seeing significant improvements in FCPX render times.

I have had a problem with auto sleep since installing a ThunderBay 4 (RAID 5). The Enclosure is connected to a Titan Ridge AIC. The monitor sleeps but not the system. I can make the system sleep using the apple dropdown menu and it will stay that way. Any thoughts or links to help for this? Thank you.

Please enter the following in Terminal and post the output:
Code:
pmset -g assertions

So I found a fix for the TV app. I needed to create a new admin user and set up the account. After that I can log with my apple-id in and see the shows.

Yep! That worked for me too!

I finally updated to Catalina and tried out Opencore folder in post #1.
I decided to revert back to Clover. However, I have this screen before every boot for about 5s before the Clover graphical UI shows up. How do I get rid of it?

I’m actually getting same screen with a couple of “Not found” errors. Wondering the same...

It's part of the FileVault fix. I don't know how to get rid of it without killing FileVault support.

Oh that's great to know because I don't use FileVault, so I guess I will just go ahead and remove the Filevault files!

@pastrychef can you please fix the white gap on the Temps and Power Consumption section? It is so distractive. It looks like these;

I can't... The change was on the forum software side.

I guess I can change it in to an image...

I put it in to a spoiler so that it only shows if you click on it.
