Something about the Gigabyte card maybe seemed to fight with the BIOS - easily fixed with a CMOS reset.

I now have Ventura installed. My monitor is connected with a DisplayPort cable and I can't get 144Hz, just 95Hz. Many have had the problem since Big Sur. Is there a solution for this in the meantime?

I don't know. It sounds like a macOS issue, not hackintosh issue.

OK. I disabled DSC and still get 95Hz. 120Hz would also be enough for me. I will buy USB-C to DP and HDMI and test it with my MacBook Air M1. I will share the result.

Edit: With HDMI I have 120Hz/4K. So there is only a problem with DisplayPort.
