pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Maybe already asked. No issues known to upgrade to 10.14.3? Thanks.

I have the MSI AirBoost Vega 56 with the LED display on the side that indicates how hard the card is working, and it's been at 100% since I updated to 10.14.3. I think something changed wrt how Mojave uses graphics acceleration...

Update, after rebooting several times, my GPU use has gone back to normal.

Have you tried shikigva=57?

On VideoProc, be sure to refresh by clicking on the circular arrows.

Thing is Pastry that in 10.14.3 technically all works but it's all zombie.
This Video app is more of a cosmetic value, real tests need to be done using Apple APi in Final Cut Pro X or Da Vinci.
Even if the Video App says hardware acceleration works, it's only in Final Cut Pro that you can validate implementation for ProRes and H264/H265. Often the App says all good and in Final Cut things don't work or, like in the case of 10.14.3 are Zombie.

Why don't you use the SSDT instead of the patches? The patches are considered temporary and was meant as a means for port discovery not long term use.

I don't have FCPX so I can't use it to test anything. No one else on this thread has mentioned problems with it either...

I use the SSDT + the USBInjectAll.kext but it does not work the USB ports SS0 are not showing up.
