pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hi,

I'm still running High Sierra, because of my 1080TI. I thought I'd give opencore a chance.
however, I noticed it takes a few seconds (10) before the bootloader initializes, is that normal?
when it runs, first line: "Failed to find ACPI SSDT-EC_USBX.aml ...
can you advise?

Make sure the attached file is in /EFI/OC/ACPI/.

Hi Chef

I better keep you posted.
I upgrade from 10.15.3 to 10.15.4 with r5114
The system freeze afrwe wake up from sleep with error:

Code:
panic(cpu 4 caller 0xffffff8011e16487): "AppleHDAHDMI_DPDriver::setPowerState(0xffffff80596e0a00 : 0xffffff7f96ea36f8, 0 -> 1) timed out after 10140 ms"@/AppleInternal/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-6153.101.6/iokit/Kernel/IOServicePM.cpp:5296Backtrace (CPU 4), Frame : Return Address

I fixed it by the workround from here:

Thanks, but this patch is already in my EFI folder.

Hi @pastrychef, today I tried switching from Clover to OpenCore and I used your EFI Folder, after setting the details related to my SMBIOS, I rebooted. Everything works included the sleep/wake feature which was broken with Clover due to an USB device that I never recognized (the problem persisted even after booting without any USB device plugged).
But I noticed an increase of CPU usage (80%) for the next 10-15 seconds after booting. Idle CPU temperature goes from 39° to 45°, on Clover usually, it went from 35° to 39°.
Even this is not a big deal for my purposes I noticed that Windows is missing from the boot devices (I have it installed on another SSD and I have the Windows folder placed in my EFI), do you have any suggestions about this?
Thank you

CPU power management is handled by SSDT-PLUG.aml. I don't know why CPU usage is high...

Does your Windows drive have the Windows installer created EFI?

Yes it does.
