No, but a reboot seems to have fixed it.You have USB drive(s) attached? USB flash drive(s)?
Weird.
Thanks

Hi @pastrychef -- just looking at your sig -- do you still have your Vega 56/64?
I am thinking of playing around with the PowerPlay Tables again, but I can't remember how to insert this into OpenCore. Do you have a pointer to how you did this? I only see how to do it via Clover Configurator.
Do you find that the PowerPlay Tables make a difference in Monterey?
Thanks
Ted
PS Happy Chinese New Year to you too!
Yes. I have a PowerColor Vega 56 Red Dragon that's been firmware flashed to Vega 64.
Please see attached config.plist to get an idea of how to apply PowerPlay Tables.
Thanks! One thing I can't seem to remember is whether the config.plist entry is in hex or base64?
Edit: it looks like it is in base64. I'll give it a shot!
Does your PPT make a difference in Monterey?
So, sorry to bother you, but I've got a problem. I tried to upgrade my BIOS on my Gigagyte Z490, and while Mac is fine, Windows 11 is stuck on "Getting Devices Ready". I'm just wondering if there is something with TPM that needs to updated and/or changed?
I went from F5 to F20, and for Windows 11 things went south. Then I reflashed to F5, and again, while the Mac side is fine (and Linux too, for that matter), Win11 is not: "Getting Devices Ready". This went on for 20 minutes, and as I needed to work on the Mac side, I had to shut it down.
I have a bootable backup, but I'm just wondering if any TPM or related settings might need to be changes or adjusted? Would you know?
Hi @pastrychef , thank you for this great project.
I just installed big sur and everything works well but i have two problems:
- when i generate serial, board and uui at the restart i get stuck on "OC: configuration requires vault but no vault provided!". I'm using imacPro1,1 system definition.
- xmp enabled in bios cause system freeze after a couple of minutes after the startup. Now i'm using xmp off with ram frequence and timings entered manually and system don't freeze.
I'm using efi opencore 0.7.7 downloaded from the first post.
Thank you in advance
