So I'm basically wondering if you can run a Kepler based card along with a Pascal card.
From my understanding they are injected in different ways so will I have to choose either one or can they work simultaneously?

Thanks in advance.

What are your parameters?
High Sierra, Sierra. Mojave etc.
web drivers for pascal may overide the Kepler card.
I'm running Sierra 10.12.6 with Mac Pro 6,1 system definition.
I'm still waiting for my Pascal card (1070 Ti) to be delivered so I haven't done any testing and so forth yet. I however bought a new PSU for the purpose of running dual cards, which would have been an unnecessary purchase if it wouldn't work out. My initial thought was that the secondary card could be used in assigned applications to offload the main gpu, but maybe it's not that simple?

An example scenario:
Having the 780 Ti (my current gpu) do all the processing in Premiere Pro while at the same time running Davinci Resolve where the 1070 Ti is doing all the work.

Another scenario would be using both cards in same application for extra processing power.
