During the installation process, I suddenly get a Partition Table Error. Here is a quick summary of what I did, incase I did something wrong. (Very likely)
I purchased Mountain Lion from the App Store using my iTunes Account. I tried to find a newer copy, but Mountain Lion was the newest I could find to buy, so I used that one. I was able to use Unibeast to create the boot USB. This went well, no errors.
I set the bios to LOAD Defaults and Boot using AHCI Mode. The installer would NOT pop up, so I had to boot using the "-x" command.
I can begin the install process, but then after about 1/2 through, it says:
I'm currently getting an INVALID Partition Table
My Current System:
Dell 6430u
CPU: Intel i7 3687
BIOS Revision: A14
Motherboard Manufacturer: Dell Inc. | Model: 0JPWJ2 | Chipset: Intel Ivy Bridge Rev. 09
Southbridge: Intel QM77 Rev 04 | LPCIO SMSC
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 Rev9
This so far has been a "pet project", but i'm pretty stuck. I have used the following guides:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...n-lion-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.60584/
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/dell-latitude-6430u.104618/
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/
Those have given me a few tips on what to do ONCE it works, such as run multibeast, then find the rest of my KTEXT, however, I'm pretty stuck on this one.
Don't hesitate if I need to post more, just let me know. I appreciate it.
Update: Motherboard Information (See Above). I pulled that information from CPU-Z. Syteminfo just said it was a Dell Brand.
