Comments
I already own a late 2011 MacBook Pro, iPhone 6S Plus and iWatch and have been wanting to move to OS X on the desktop for sometime, but I have always been an AMD user and as such couldn't switch to Hackintosh in any sensible way. But I work in privacy and data protection and given the way Microsoft have been going with telemetry in Windows 10 (and increasing Windows 7/8) there was no way I was willing to upgrade from Windows 7. Then last week my memory controller started only working in single channel mode so it was the perfect opportunity to do an upgrade to Intel and go Hackintosh.

Installation
For the most part I followed the standard Installation Guide apart from the following additions:

1. Intel Networking
I believe that Intel Networking is available in MultiBeast but I forgot to enable it so I had to manually copy AppleIntelE1000e.kext to /System/Library/Extensions

then: sudo chmod -R 755 AppleIntelE1000e.kext/
and: sudo chown -R root:wheel AppleIntelE1000e.kext/

(Note the Intel NIC is the one directly above the sound ports)

Rebooted and networking worked fine.

2. GTX 908Ti
Installed NVidia Web Drivers as per the standard Installation Guide. Having a few problems - unable to boot with two monitors (I get stuck in a boot loop) so have to leave the second monitor unplugged until I get to the login screen; also despite making relevant changes to my config.plist with Clover to deal with NVRAM issues, I still can't get the system to use NVidia Web Drivers by default - I have to manually change it from the NVidia Driver Manager when I log in (it shows Default OS X drivers in use although acceleration works...so a bit perculiar).

3. Audio
During Post Installation I used MultiBeast to configure audio with both ALC1150 & ALC100 series. Audio is working from all ports.

Summary
Most things are working including USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Networking and ALC Sound, however, USB 3.1 is not working - benchmarks below:

UPDATE
I was lucky enough to get a good Black Friday deal on an Inno3D iChill GTX 980 Ti Black Series Hybrid (liquid cooled) so I have since upgraded this system to the GTX 980 Ti and am no longer running the R9 390X.

Glad to see someone else with a working 390X, this card has been such a hit or miss.
Congrats on your Hackintosh by the way

I used ATIFlash and converted my XFX R9 390x into a Power Color R9 390x to avoid issues with the card.

I didn't want to risk bricking the card so I just use clover to load a different vbios.

Only thing which bugs me now is not being able to turn off my display but I can live with that and I just use nice 4k images for my screensaver :)

I understand you are worried, trust me AMD cards and nVidia cards with dual bios are extremely difficult to brick. Also since we both use a z170 chipset we can use the integrated graphics to flash back if a bad flash occurs. I've flashed over 20 bad bios/uefi on my cards to test and never had an issue recovering. I just wasn't aware XFX blocks OS X so odd. Glad someone referred me to this thread.

Yes XFX do odd things with their BIOS. I tried using it without loading a different VBIOS via Clover and it wouldn't work - as soon as I loaded a reference VBIOS it booted no problem.

The weird thing about the monitor sleep issue is that if I have the monitor turned off on boot and don't turn it on until I get to the login screen (I tested this with my dual monitor setup) the monitor will power up and OSX will accept it as a display. It is only if I then turn the monitor off and attempt to turn it back on again that it doesn't work.

This would seem to indicate that it isn't a problem with OSX getting no signal from the monitor because if it was then surely it wouldn't work in the situation above - it seems to be more to do with losing the signal that triggers the situation where it cannot be turned on again.

I am not a software developer (at least not for 20 years or so now) so I wouldn't know where to start looking but maybe someone who is more familiar with the OS might want to look at it from this perspective. Maybe if they can find what is triggered when OS X loses the signal to the display they can fix the sleep issue?

I'm have the same graphics card, and whenever I try to boot with my monitor plugged into my card and the card enabled in BIOS, I get hung up at "Missing Bluetooth Transport Controller!"
I've tried the steps you mentioned, especially the VBIOS but it didn't work. I noticed that in System Profiler it says 67b0, rather than 67B0 as you listed, is it case sensitive? If that's not my problem, what could it be?
Rest of my specs:
Intel core i5 6500
Asrock Z170 Pro 4s

So I have made a few changes. I now have the Fenvi Bluetooth/WiFi card which worked out of the box and gives me full Continuity/AirDrop/HandOff/iWatch Unlock support as well as working in BIOS, Post and Clover. So to go with that I have added a Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad 2.

I have also added a Samsung 960 EVO NVMe drive which I am using as the system drive with Sierra.

I have no sleep issues, full acceleration and hdmi/dp sound with with the GTX 980 Ti and can even unlock it with my Apple Watch.

System is totally stable and I am incredibly happy - it is just like working on my 2016 MacBook Pro except I have my huge displays :)

Can you link to your Fenvi Bluetooth/Wifi card?
