P8z68-V LX - cannot get ALC887 audio drivers working

Hello Everyone,

Need a little help getting the audio drivers working on my new hackintosh:

Running 10.6.8
Installed ALC8xxHAD, AppleHDA Rollback, and ALC887/888b via MultiBeast

Noting shows up in the system settings: sound. Asus states that the audio on the board is the ALC887, so I think I have done everything right so far, not sure why the drivers do not show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same motherboard. I am running I5 processor. I can get show and Lion installed, but when I try to update the system locks. Please tell me the steps you took to get installed and update.

Did you use "UpdateHelper". You have a Sandy Bridge system. Must check system utilities when installing the sound kexts.
