P67A-UD4-B3 BIOS F7 - Gigabyte motherboard

Everything is working OK so far with Maverick and the only problem is every so often my DVD optical drive well come on and I don't have anything in the drive. It seem to do it about every 4 or 5 mins but when it does it doesn't effect anything else.

Has anyone else ran into this type of problem?

What are your other components? Did you do an upgrade or a clean install of Mavericks?
