P35-DS3 + GTX 750 Ti + Unibeast = Installer-Insta-Reboot

Well, first and foremost: Sorry for not having any builds in my signature. It somehow doesn't work for me.

Here's my rig:

Mobo: Gigabyte P35-DS3
CPU: Intel C2Q Q6600 @ 3.0GHz
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 750Ti OC 2GB
RAM: Crucial Something 4096mb

I've been a successful Hackintosh-User with this rig since 10.6, but 10.10 is giving me headache.

Did everything as usual:

1. Followed this guide -> http://www.tonymacx86.com/445-unibeast-install-os-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
2. Made sure that the Award BIOS Settings are correct.
3. Created a USB-Installer with Unibeast (5.0, as well as 5.0.1 and 5.0.2, each with and without legacy support) multiple times from multiple machines (MacBook Pro 17" Mid 2009, OSX 10.10 as well as MacBook 13" Late 2006, OSX 10.7), I also downloaded the Mac App Store-Version of 10.10 multiple times.

And everything ended in the same result: The installer reads everything, puts in the boot args - and the whole rig instantly reboots:



And that's it. I've tried out different bootflags and combinations of the following:

• -x
• GraphicsEnabler=Yes
• maxmem=4096
• npci=0x000
• PCIRootUID=0
• PCIRootUID=1

Off course, the apple logo isn't shown

Having run OSX 10.6-10.9 for quite a while on this rig, I feel like a dumbo not even getting the 10.10-installer to run.

Any ideas, except for "get a new rig" are highly appreciated.

Ah, I've also tried it with a different GPU (AMD Radeon HD4870 512mb, which worked pretty well with 10.8 and 10.9)

OK I didn't see if you ran -v or not in the boot flags, but maybe I missed something. Also disable the Virtualization Technology.

I did run -v (hence the output on my first screenshot, I just didn't list it since it should make any difference).

I try turning off the VT, back in 2 mins.

update: Sadly, VT has no influence...

The 750TI needs to use PCI Express 3.0 which your motherboard doesn't have.

That is false. He just wont get full speeds, but it doesn't mean he cant run it.

After watching the video of the boot process over and over again, this ACPI Table not Found-Error caught my eye:



Any ideas?

In the beginning, I haven't. Then i fooled around a bit with it (found a DTST.aml for my Mobo, then I extracted one with AIDA64 Extreme 3.20) and I tried different args, like "DropSSDT=Yes", "RestartFix=No" - nothing works. no matter what, at the end it tries to boot the kernel and my machine instantly restarts without any additional error...

It's frustrating.

In my honest opinion I would say stay with Mavs for now until maybe someone else has taken the time to figure it out. Because there is no way I can help now, sorry for not be able to help you

Hmmm. I still can't even get into the safemode. It's like when I tried updating from Mavericks to Yosemite via the common Software Update ruined something that now prevents me from even booting any OSX kernel.

CMOS-Reset has been done several times... and I'm getting really agressive, everytime that ****ing system reboots without any useful message... GNAAAARGH!
