Always a few seconds after I started µt*****t I got a full crash down of my computer, here the logs:

05.08.11 16:49:10,924 Finder: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed
05.08.11 16:49:11,000 kernel: NTFS volume name USB-3, version 3.1.
...

after a while ...

05.08.11 16:59:08,036 com.apple.kextcache: Created prelinked kernel /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache.
05.08.11 17:02:28,960 Finder: copyPrimaryAirPortInterface::ACInterfaceDeviceNameCopy returned NULL
05.08.11 17:02:28,960 Finder: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed
05.08.11 17:02:29,581 Finder: copyPrimaryAirPortInterface::ACInterfaceDeviceNameCopy returned NULL
05.08.11 17:02:29,581 Finder: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed

This are the last entries, afterwords, the system crashed down ... I had three days ago the same problem with Snow Leopard, so I decided to update to 10.7 .... and the problem still appears ...

What I think is, I don't have any wireless LAN .... its a bag full of pain in any network!

I'm I right in the assumption, that the AirPort brings my network down?

How can I shut it completely down fast and painless?

Thanks a lot!!

Max.

I don't have crashes, but every time I view a folder or HD in Finder I get:

Code:
15:27:45 Finder[311]: copyPrimaryAirPortInterface::ACInterfaceDeviceNameCopy returned NULL
15:27:45 Finder[311]: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed

In terminal - 'All Wi-Fi network services are disabled.'
I don't have any wifi in my system anyway.
I don't want any wifi in my system.

I renamed /system/library/launchagents/com.apple.AirportBaseStationAgent.plist so it didn't start AirPort Base Station Agent.
This had no effect on stopping the messages from appearing.

I have installed lnx2mac latest Realtek driver.

Anyone have any ideas how to disable/delete/get rid of the airport interface for good?

Cheers

Lnx2Mac driver should resolve your problem. What nic driver did you install with multibeast?

I'm having the same peer to peer issue. I tried switching to the Lnx2Mac driver but each time I try it Lion will no longer boot.

I'm not using a wireless connection. I'm still having the P2P problem, however, and I think the network drivers in general are causing the random lockups I'm having. Wish there was a fix.

same issue here...will inform as soon as possible...(when i fix it)

I never was able to fix it. Hopefully, you will have better luck.

This worked for me.

Type in terminal.
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces 1
Then:
killall Finder && open /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app

Now those errors should be gone.

I ran that command to get AirDrop to work, but it didn't help the p2p.
