OW: Papa Legba Hear My Call!

Along with Sierra Public Beta 3 installation, Verbose mode booting now shows multiple "Stealth Mode Connection Attempt UDP:############"

and even stranger is a line that says:

OW: Papa Legba Hear My Call!

The only reference I can find online is from a company that researches BIOS infections.

Some sort of infection??

No voodoo jokes please!

I did a clean install of 10.12.1 and the line was no longer there. I updated to 10.12.2 Public Beta 3 and the line is back. No other software installed. The only thing not from Apple is FakeSMC and Clover. Any ideas?

It has something to do with eficheck.kext

Thanks, I saw this and was suspicious that I had some malware. A line calling on a Voodoo god during boot certainly made me think something nefarious was going on.
