Overclocking and locked volume?

I'm running a Z68XP-UD3 F8 system that has been fairly stable. I have an SSD drive running my OS & Apps and all my users live on a 1 TB SATA called "Users". I've been tweaking the system using the Gigabyte SMART 6 QuickBoost tool in Windows 7 and then booting back into Lion (10.7.3). I'm noticing that when I log-in to any user in Lion after tweaking the system to Turbo or Twin Turbo, the users volume appears to be locked (read-only). If I reset the bios to Optimized settings and recommended settings for my Hackintosh, everything is ok again.

Does anyone have any ideas/guesses on what setting is getting hosed to cause my SATA "Users" drive to appear locked in Lion?

Finally solved this issue by replacing my stock Intel CPU cooler with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler. The temp stays at about 46-48°C now. I've set bios settings to Turbo using Smart QuickBoost in Windows.
