Overclock i7-3770K @ 4.6Ghz not showing up on Sierra

Hi all,

I was wondering how do I get my overclock to pick up on MacOS Sierra as it is showing standard clock speed

Even when I did a benchmark using GeekBench the following results were displayed:

Anyone able to help me fix this issue ?

my build specs are available on my profile and below

• MotherBoard: Asus ROG Maximus V Gene
• BIOS: Patched with 1903(custom patch)
• CPU: Intel i7-3770K 3.5Ghz [Overclocked to 4.6Ghz but not showing up on OS X ]
• CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i v2
• RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB [4x8GB 1600Mhz]
• GPU(s): Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 OC 2GB [x2]
• SDD: Kingston 240GB

Really need this overclock running so I can start encoding again -_-

Hi, This is just the way it usually is. Your problem is just cosmetic ... so not such a big deal compared with others on this forum.

Install HWSensors/HWMonitor. It will tell you your clock speed as it changes.
