OSX Yosemite... install or upgrade?

Same question here. I've had my first Hackintosh running Mavericks smoothly (one of the suggested builds). Is it safe to simply update Chimera and go through the Yosemite Update? Or do we have to wait for special tools from here? Thanks

I am waiting also. However I think we need unibeast. Booting from flash drive with unibeast and Yosemite appears to be required. You just skip the part of formatting/partitioning.

Seems that on my computer Yosemite won't upgrade form Mavericks - I just can't select my system partition.

Will try with Unibeast.

Hmm - hope that's not the case everywhere.

I'll report back if I get similar issues, but I can't imagine why that's happened.
