OSX Lion: Energy Saver, Mouse Won't Wake

Looking for a fix on OSX Lion. The computer shuts off the monitor after 15 minutes of inactivity, but I can get back into it by pressing a key on my keyboard. (The mouse won't work).

Any help is appreciated.

This is a new "feature" of Lion so you can't accidentally wake your screen by bumping your mouse. I think it should be an option though. I prefer mouse move for wake from screen shut off and button key for wake from sleep.
