Solved: OSX Lion 10.7.4 not recognizing GTX 550 ti after multibeast
Hi all,
I'm trying to get a hackintosh running with a mix of some spare parts I had and a couple new parts. It boots fine and runs but only gives me 1024x768 resolution and reads the graphics card as just a 3mb nvidia card.
It's taken me about 6 hours to get to this point but now I'm stuck.
After 3 installs trying different settings to find the perfect ones that get this comp booting in the least amount of extra steps, I Have it almost perfect except for this graphics card problem.
All the steps done during the last clean install:
-Installed lion 10.7.4 using unibeast and everything went great and the first boot read the video card fine and gave me the full resolution.
-Ran multibeast and installed the dsdt for my mobo, repair permissions, 64bit graphicsenabler=no, and nvidia drivers for 10.7.2+
-Rebooted and got the boot0: error
-Followed the boot0 error guide and rebooted and was then able to boot the os but I wasn't getting full resolution or graphics card detected.
and that's where I'm stuck at now.. everything else seems to be fine and there's no errors or anything to search and these video cards seem like they work fine in lion for everyone, so I don't know what the problem is.
Any suggestions?
