Overall OS X System speed / Performance
Choose carefully what you install or not
Hey guys,
Tell the others, what you install on your system and what aren't.

  • What is the latest stable boot loader?
  • What are the stable kexts?
  • What plugins or binaries used your system?
  • What is the best practices of POST Installation for the best performance?

OS X Performance boost by Intel IE1000 network kext version? Really? Yes!

I'm using the following configuration:
Gigabyte Z87N-Wifi (without PCIe wireless modem)
Intel i7 4770k
Gigabyte Nvidia GT640 2GB
Corsair 1600 Mhz 2x 4GB

So, in a few days I reinstalled the OS X El Capitan with clover boot loader (r3263). Only are the audio (RT892) and Intel wired network connector (IE1000) doesn't work.

In the past I used Multibeast's latest version Intel IE1000 kext to patch the network connector. It's work fine. BUT, now I using Hackintosh Vietnam Tool's IE1000 patch (AppleIntelE1000e.kext 3.1.0) and now my system is faster then before. Really, windows are opened faster, Safari page load times reduced about 80%. :thumbup:Lets try and share your opinion.
