Article: OS X Mavericks is Now Available on the Mac App Store for Free

I'm trying to donwload 10.9 with my Intel Atom Hackintosh to use UniBeast, but it says I need at least a Core2Duo. Any idea how to trick the Mac App Store into thinking I had a Core2Duo?
Thanks in advance

I run the Install OS X Maverics app, it reboots, but no Maverics! Old 10.8.5. Install app does create /OSX Install Data folder, but do not run it on reboot… I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...

I've install Mavericks over my Mountain Lion 10.8.5 installation on my Zorro Sandy Bridge system with UniBeast 3 & MultiBeast 6.0.0. Easiest update yet. See my post here in my Zorro build description for my procedure.

Had the same problem and solved it by using Unibeast installer. So create Unibeast boot volume, boot from it, run the update (if it does not start automatically) and that's it.
The last step, where update is saying it only takes one more minute, took quite long in my case. Be patient.
