i`m afraid to upgrade my Mountain Lion...

good thing I made an extra "Testing" Mountain Lion Partition on my Hackintosh Worst comes to worst, I loose everything on that partition...

I'm waiting for my parts to come in and made a Mountain Lion USB with Unibeast (but have not installed it on the SSD yet since it hasn't arrive yet). Should I erase the Mountain Lion on the USB and install Mavericks? Will it work?

How do you just download it? The button says Install and I'm not ready for that but am afraid that Mavericks won't stay free.
