You're rite, 10.11 does snappier than 10.10, but i found 10.11 DP6 is more laggy compared to DP5 (especially double click expanding windows)... besides i am pretty sure i have cpu and gpu configured well that my bench score is as expected
It may depend a lot on the hardware you have, and therefore the graphics drivers in play.
