Have you put your Ethernet in EFI/Clover/kexts/10.11? you need to make sure that your Ethernet is working in order for iMessage to work.

Really? That's not good, hope you got it solved... I'll first update my MacBook Pro to see what's new and wait with my hackintosh for a while - just to get the feeling how many people are having issues with iMessage. It was a pain to get it working.

Hello, sorry, I'm kind of a noob to this, but I'm really trying, I copied over El Capitan install with the terminal command, installed Clover to the drive, added null cpu power management, fakesmc, and my ethernet Kexts to the drive and tried to boot. I'm getting KP for appleintelcpupowermanagament, idk what I'm doing wrong

I just downloaded in 10 minutes! :headbang: (Cable internet the Netherlands)
But I will do some research before installing.
What is the best way to backup my yosemite installation?

That's what I am seeing on closer examination. Exactly. You are not alone. :/

Mine starts updating but 30 seconds or so into the install it reboots back into the clover boot selection. Maybe it's better to do it by creating the install media with a bit more time.

Has anyone managed to update it directly from the Mac AppStore? I have added the flags in RtVariables but even so it does not want to install it. The first part goes fine until it reboots and then its what i have described above.

Is there a direct download link? AppStore download is unacceptably slow.

I did a direct update from 10.10.5 to 10.11 through the App Store and it worked very nice :)

Hardware:
Z77X-UD5H v1.1 - i5-3570k, GTX660 TI, Fusion Drive, 16 GB RAM, BCM94360CD Wifi Card and Bluetooth

Preparation:
Use the latest Clover Version and add this to your config:

Code:
[FONT=Menlo]       <key>RtVariables</key>[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]        <dict>[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]                <key>BooterConfig</key>[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]                <string>0x28</string>[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]                <key>CsrActiveConfig</key>[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]                <string>0x03</string>[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]        </dict>[/FONT]

For Bluetooth Card BCM94360CD, which uses the onboard USB connector:

Code:

Update:
Download "El Capitan" through the App Store and just update. It will reboot 2 or 3 times and should boot up without any issue, but sound is gone.

End:
After the update, download audio_cloverALC-110.sh from Toleda (google it). Just ran it and reboot.

Everything works, including iMessage, Facetime, Sound, Bluetooth.
