Article: OS X 10.9.3 Update

Any one know if there is still an issue with loss of audio after wake from sleep?
Or should we still be rolling back to earlier multibeast audio drivers?

(issue appears to only be affecting people with certain gigabyte motherboards, including me)
I'm having this issue on my Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI

:roll2:

updated to 10.9.3
installed back alc898 from multibeast

the sound work fine after fresh start.. but after sometime sounds gone...
any idea ? or any way to trace what is the issue?

Well because i'm a mofo i allowed the appstore update to update to 10.9.3 and it replaced the appleGPUpower Management and PCI kext.. re-installed the kext needed for TC powercore to work, everything seems fine so far. Will fully test later...

I'm just about to build a new machine.
Should I install 9.3 from the start, install 9.2 and upgrade, or install 9.2 and wait?

Specs:
i7-4770k
R9 280x
GA-H87N-WIFI
Samsung EVO 250

I don't know if you've had a reply yet but I did a clean install into 10.9.3 two days ago and its working fine. No problems with my Nvidia card either like some are having.

GA-H87M-D3H update to 10.9.3 ok

USB boot > install 10.9 > {reboot}
USB boot to HD > install 10.9.3 > {reboot}
USB boot to HD > MultiBeast 6.2.1 :

Quick Start > EasyBeast
Drivers > Network > Realtek > RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT > ALC892
Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac 14,2
Build > Install > {reboot}

remove USB
HD boot > App Store > Updates > {reboot}

LAN and Sound work fine
shutdown reboot and sleep work's too

I did the upgrade this morning. Gigabyte Z87X-ud5 TH, GTX 760 4GB and i7 4770. I followed the procedures, and had issues. The system wouldn't reboot. I had to remove all the USB drives and devices, then do the Multibeast 6.22.

I still don't have audio without the USB device in place, which is frustrating, but, at least things work.

After that on first reboot, it locked up, but on reboot it was fine again. It has been fine since then, which granted is only a couple of hours.

Good luck everyone.

For me everything worked like a charm.
