Works great ! Just reactivate Trim enabler with multibeast. No issues with a gtx660

Asus Maximus VI Gene
4770k
GTX 770

10.9.2 worked until restart. Seems like it changed the EFI partition, which made it so I couldn't boot into OSX once I shutdown. This is caveat of the VI Gene as it can't good from GUID partitions.

Resolved this by booting into my Mavericks USB, and then selecting the harddrive I have OSX installed on. The 10.9.2 update finished successfully and I was able to boot into OSX.

I had to reinstall the Audio and TRIM drivers with Multibeast:

Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT > ALC1150
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT > HDAEnabler
Drivers > Disk > TRIM Enabler > 10.9.0 TRIM Patch

I also had to redo the Bootloader to EFI fix again to make the drive bootable. Here is the guide I followed:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/401-install-bootloader-extra-efi-partition.html

I am using the same motherboard but I use GUID and Clover. I updated using Software Update not the combo update, let it reboot, and everything just worked :D

H87N-Wifi/i5-4570/HD7870

Repaired permissions
Updated from combo
Black screen after boot (on either GPU)
tried all combinations of -x -v graphicsenabler and igpenabler

10.9.2 Unibeast stick kernelpanics upon booting the installer.

Any ideas?

after rebooting and reinstalling TRIm and audio i get a kernel panic at boot :S i'm now trying to use unibeast to start multibeast and reinstall the dsdt free pack

Seems to have broken my Z87N-Wifi. Now stuck at the TonyMac Grey screen with apple. :(

How long should I give the spinning clock to load any updates before giving up?

UPDATE: Fixed this by setting GraphicsEnabler to YES (ie. opposite of 10.9.1). Also, see my post in General Help about setting PCIRootUID to 1 (this fixed my dual monitor setup)

Initially no sound, manually patched the new AppleHDA 2.6.0 for 898. (as of writing Multibeast is still packaged with 2.5.3 from 10.9.1) Everything works fine on GA-Z87X-UD3H.

After install combo update 10.9.2 all work fine, it is only necessary audio alc892 without dsdt from multibeast for my mbd.

Unfortunately my system won't boot anymore. Did the combo update and now it hangs with kernel panic. Seems to be something with apple acpi. Tried every boot command, but no luck either.
I did a backup using the carbon copy cloner, but it's pretty useless.

So, unless it boots with the unibeast pendrive, I can install fresh from scratch...

Time to think about buying a real apple mac machine....
