For those of you still having audio problems after reinstalling the drivers through multibeast, try unplugging and reinserting the audio cable into the computer.

This fixed it for me when reinstalling the driver did not bring sound back, even after multiple installs and restarts.

Worked fine here. My first hackintosh system upgrade. Standalone installer. Reinstalled audio driver (and upgraded Chimera at the same time for iMessage fix).

GA-Z77N-Wifi and GTX 670.

HP xw8600- 2x3.2ghz Quad core Xeon Corsair SSD - nVidia Quadro FX5600 - 16GB Ram
OSX 10.8.3 to 10.8.4
App Store update to 10.8.4. Multibeast 5.3.1 EasyBeast. Fix Permissions in Disk Utility. Reboot. Using USB audio. All working.

Tip: If you are using any kexts to get the TP-Link WN881ND to work, they do not work in 10.8.4.
Downgraded back to 10.8.2

Everything works fine on my Z77 DS3H and with HD7770.

Asus P8Z77-WS / i7-3770K / EVGA GTX 680 Sig2 - works fine, but had to re-install audio drivers from MB 5.3.1 again.

By accident I first installed audio drivers from MB 5.3.0 - which did not work! Has to be 5.3.1!
