I also used the built-in Software Update and all went well except for loss of Audio. Quick run of Multibeast in re-install the driver and all is good. :-D

Try to delete the AppleHDA.kext first from S/L/E and then run Multibeast and reboot.

Asus p8z68 Deluxe, 2700k, installed via combo updater.

Reinstalled easybeast and rebooted. Works perfect.

As I have yet to build my hackintosh, I'm curious about how these updates go. Do I have to install each upgrade combo in order? or can I just install the latest one? I assume that if I have to install each one, It will be in some sort of order, right?
