OS X 10.8.4 Update

I could not get audio to work for a frustrating few days on my GA G31-MX2.

I finally got it working by using Multibeast 4.4 with the options ALC8xxHDA + AppleHDA Rollback + non DSDT ALC888 checked.

I wish there was a repository with older versions somewhere on the net. I should never have got rid of previous versions.

I saw that you have the same constellation of hardware than me. Could you please send me your Multibeast-Settings, due to freezing problems :-/

Update worked fine for me.
Gigabyte h61n-usb3 (customac mini 2011)
only had to reinstall ALC889 driver with DSDT.
HDMI audio temporarily worked after the update with no configuration, but went away after reinstalling correct audio drivers. seemed strange, but everything works great.

Installed 10.8.4 Combo Update - reboot: Audio not working, TRIM=no. Install No-DSDT ALC889 and 10.8.3 TRIM enabler from MultiBeast 3.5.1 - reboot - all working again!

Works very fine. Only need reloaded ALC889 from Multibeast.

GA-Z77X-UD5H, updated before, everything was fine. Now, after I installed the camera RAW update my audio is gone. Reinstalling ALC898 with MB doesn't help. No audio devices found.

Downloaded the newest Multi Beast and this time it worked. o_O

Installed with UserDSDT using my old slightly modded DSDT + Trim Enabler = works better than 10.8.2
