This benchmark result is for GPU + CPU so that is why it's higher than whats in the article.

An interesting read. Thank you for researching.

My gigabyte GTX 460 SOC edition is getting 716 points, is that possible versus that GTX 670? I know the clockrates are higher of my videocard but the 670 is 2 generations newer?

THANK YOU.

Now if only FCPX would work properly with the new NVIDIA cards. Dang. The long wait for Apple to do something with the Mac Pro architecture continues.
The update to FCPX helped, a little but the only way I can make the program happy (meaning it doesn't freeze often) is to turn off background rendering and choose better performance. The settings are under preferences.

... hmmm with my 2x5770 setup i get the score 777 !
I have all the parts for a CustoMac Pro 2013 at home exept the Graphic Card (simply had to assemble them).
I had the GTX 670 in mind, but now ...
... or is it possible to make a mixed setup with one GTX670 and one or two 5770 cards on a GA-Z77X-UP5-TH MB ?
