Install fails for me too.... Although it reports 10.8.1 in system profile...but freezes on boot with no entry sign?

Might try removing some kexts back to vanilla and retry installation?

p55m-ud2 w/ 550 ti. after update network drivers stopped working, had to reload realtek drivers on multibeast. just had time to check to make sure video card works but havent tested sleep ect

Everything is working nice. Not that there was any thing wrong before! When i first started in the hackintosh scene is was extremely complicated it isn't simple now, but the difference is it is just like having a real mac. I am amazed.

Mine indicated installation failed with the package from Apple's website. Tried it again and it indicated failure the second time. However, I was able to boot fine, and it seems as it it was applied correctly. Version indicates 10.8.1.
