Thanks for the help. Deleting the APPLE folder in /EFI/ didn't work. Using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi didn't work.

Just copied all the EFI folder on the USB pen to the EFI disk partition and it worked.

(but first had to install the USBInjectAll.kext)

Today Apple released 10.11.6, the sixth (and final?) major update to OS X El Capitan. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, boot using UniBeast created USB, press spacebar, and boot using Safe Mode.

What we know about 10.11.6 so far...
  • OS X Build 15G31
  • Kernel updated to Darwin 15.6.0
  • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
    • NVIDIA Alternate Graphics Drivers have been updated for 10.11.6 here.
  • This update will replace your audio drivers. If you enabled Realtek onboard audio using MultiBeast or the CloverALC110 script, no changes will be necessary.
  • Install OS X El Capitan App Updated - If you downloaded El Capitan from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated 10.11.6 Install OS X El Capitan App can be found in the Applications folder. You may then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.
Testing is now underway- this post will be updated. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! Report your results here.

I ran update through the store and now the OS X partition does not show up in Clover. Boots windows fine and my backup clone partition is still visible but there's no OS X 10.11.6 partition. Never had this problem before and my searches for a similar issue are coming up dry. (or at least unrelated) help?

Has anyone noticed (at least it's not returning results for me) the OS X El Capitan app is no longer showing via search in the app store? Only Sierra.

If you have downloaded it previously then it will be on your Purchased page in the App Store app.
If you have not then it is no longer available because it has been superseded by Sierra.

Thanks, that's what I thought, but when I saw the "May date" I thought perhaps that was an older version and not version OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G31)- this is the version I want to keep on my install USB as I don't want to bother updating their last release with all the issues I've seen - I'll just wait and leap into Sierra at a later date.

BTW - since (just did my first Hackintosh and install of El Capitan) but since I still don't have audio drivers or nvidia working ( do have a stable bootable OS via the new Clover) any major risks making the leap to Sierra?

Hi,

Recently updated to 10.11.6.

Initially everything seemed fine, but after a couple of restarts it seems like I'm stuck at the login screen.

Every time I enter the password the screen goes black for a moment and then just displays the login screen again.

Tried different boot flags (-x -v -nv_disable=1) but the result is the same all the time.

Need some help to get unstuck.

Thanks

Hi, guys. Can you tell how can i install nvidia web driver for el Capitan 10.11.6. I have this message:
Version 10.11.6 (15G1010) is not supported with this package. Please see NVIDIA’s website for further driver information.

i have GTX 950 Evga
Pls. Help
Still looking for that answer too - if you installed the NIVIDIA driver manager the option shown should say Install or Check for Updates - currently for my version of El Capitan I don't think there's a driver yet. That said, how to get any of the graphic drivers to work is still a mystery to me, mine's still not working.

I just had 10:11:6 not being compatible after Apple BETA Security Update 2016-002 24th Sept. Fix was to overwrite Nvidia Web Driver 346.03.15f03 (which was working before security update), with the old beta WebDriver-346.03.15b01.pkg.

OSX build number 15G1104. Card Gigabyte GTX 950 (GV N950WF20C-2GB)

Yes just ran the old driver 346.03.15b01 package and it fix it. Now sees GTX 950 via Nvidia Web Driver
